I had the kids loaded into the van yesterday, dropping Jimmy off at scouts when Amelia rapidly fired off a series of questions that were so complex I was left speechless. Luckily, she also came up with her own answer. It went something like this.
A: How can you tell the difference between a caterpillar that turns into a moth and one that turns into a butterfly? What is electricity and how does it REALLY make things work? How does the body make hair? (slight pause) Maybe I should stop checking out princess craft books and start finding books to answer my questions.
