Over the weekend, we bought a minivan (yay!) and we are all grateful to have it. It's a 1999 Chevrolet Venture. While Jimmy gets a thrill out of the automatic door, Jonathan found a unique way to enjoy the van. As soon as the door opens, Jonthan reaches in and pushes on the black circle and shouts "ding dong!"
(if you open your car door, you will probably see a black circle where the door closes)

That's great news! I'm happy for you all. You are the third family we know to have acquired a mini-van over Christmas this year! What color is it?
It is gray, seats 8 and has a tv in the ceiling. Also, it is the model with extra space in the back. When the kids found out about the tv, they were sold. Amelia was a high pressure salesgirl. "So are you going to buy the car?" she asked every few minutes. The tv wasn't a selling point to me, but maybe we'll use it on a long car trip?
that's great Tracy! I know exactly what circle you're talking about. Our van has a red one and a black one. Evalyn was always fascinated by them, too! : )
